The advantages of a suspended toilet

At first glance, the console does not inspire much confidence. It seems that the “soar” over the Paul is a very unreliable creation. However, everything is exactly the opposite: the suspension system can withstand, depending on the characteristics declared by the manufacturer, from 200 to 400 kg.
Installation will allow you to easily carry out high -quality cleaning of the room. In addition, it contributes to a simpler arrangement of warm floors and will not violate the beauty and appearance of the finish. And the lack of a familiar tank makes a bathroom visually very light and spacious.
However, let’s find out some negative points:
Very often the installation is simply walled up at the wall, which in the future can lead to serious problems.
Service service of suspended systems is better to trust specialists.
Replacement of the toilet entails almost a complete repair of the bathroom.
However, despite obvious disadvantages, installation systems are still popular. And this popularity is owed to a really neat appearance and convenience in operation.

The installation is a mounting system that completely hides both the supply of water and sewage systems and the tank itself. It can be frame and block.
Frame installation is a design that contains three elements: connection to the sewer, water supply and tank. The system can be fixed in three ways: at two points on the floor and in two on the wall, at four points only on the wall, or only on the floor. The depth of the structure can be from 15 to 30 mm, the width is 50-60 cm, and the height is from 80 to 140 cm. The hole is closed most often by plasterboard and is blocked by a tile.
The advantage of this type of installation is that there are both direct and angular options on sale. Thus, you do not depend on the type of location and you can equip the point anywhere in the bathroom. The only drawback is a fairly high cost of «pleasure».
The second option for installing a suspended toilet — block installation. It is a body with a tank and places for attaching reinforcement. This type is suitable for cases when the system needs to be drowned into the wall. The depth of installation is from 10 to 15 cm, and the height is up to 1 m.
Please note that block installation is suitable only for installation on the capital wall.
Economical installation of a suspended toilet bowl with your own hands
It is clear that not everyone has the opportunity to purchase expensive installation or allocate a place for it. However, if you really wanted to give the bathroom a progressive and neat look — this is not a reason to refuse the suspension system. Everyone is quite capable of replacing a simple toilet with a newfangled.
This method has only one drawback: before installing a suspended toilet, you will have to strive through the wall to fix the stilettos. And if the old toilet place is located near the wall adjacent to the neighbors, then they are unlikely to like your undertaking. So, you need to transfer the toilet to the other point of the bathroom and make a new sewage wiring. However, if you make major repairs, then all this is not so scary.
What will be needed for installation:
A pair of studs with a thread (diameter 20 mm, length 600-800 mm) and four nuts;
concrete;
Formwork;
The toilet itself.
The toilet should be at an altitude of 40-50 cm from the floor. At this level and drill through the through holes for the studs. On the other side of the wall we tighten them with nuts. So that it does not work out, so that the nuts will stick out in the most prominent place, after strokes you can drill holes so that the nuts are drowned into the wall. Subsequently, traces can be hidden either with a solution or putty.
Prepare the drain. To do this, we vertically send a special chat-adapter for suspended systems (sold in any plumbing store). Next, you need to mount and secure the formwork securely. In the design you need to not forget to provide a groove for a tank. We prepare a solution at the rate of 1 part of cement, 2 parts of sand, 3 parts of gravel and 0.7 parts of water. And in order for the concrete to lie well, you can add 10 ml of liquid soap for every 10 liters of water. It is better to wrap with a film before pouring the hairpin so that the solution does not get onto the thread. The formwork cannot be removed earlier than in a week. Well, then everything is simple: the toilet is assembled according to the standard scheme, the tank and drain are connected.
After such a practice and an independent connection of the bath will seem like a trifle task!
