In order to put the warm floor in the house yourself, it is necessary to purchase a film heater of the desired size, depending on the area of all housing or a separate room, which was planned to insulate.
You will need:
— a roll of a film heater or more;
— Reflecting insulation is such a type of insulation on which the layer reflecting the heat is glued, designed to direct the air masses warm by the film heater (so that the heat does not go from the heater to the floor slabs or the flooring, but directly into the room);
— wires, packaging of copper clamps;
— island, masking adhesive tape;
— fiberglass construction grid;
— Temperature sensors and temperature controller.
By the sensor, I mean, a temperature sensor, you need to understand a special device necessary for measuring the ambient temperature with an integrated thermometer. The temperature sensor processes the data obtained from the outside using a special program or informs the main device with information where it is converted into software codes. The code causes the system reaction to the signal received, that is, the heater is turned off or vice versa turns on (temperature sensors are sold everywhere where film heaters offer).

If there is a coating on the floor (linoleum, marmoleum, carpet, tile or wood), it should first be removed.
On a clean, dry floor surface we put a layer of heat -reflecting canvas (you can glue).
We lay the film on the heat -refracting material.
We set the temperature sensor exactly under the heating area of the film heater (you can hide a small recess under it to avoid bulging).
Maslar tape glue the film to the heat -refracting layer.
Install a thermostat near a socket or switch;
We catch the copper clamp to the edges of the film and connect the wires and film (one wire is attached to only one corner of all the strips of the film, the other wire covers the remaining angles — this means the left and right angles on one side of the heating layer).
Be sure to insulate the joints of the wires with the film, as well as the cuts on the film.
Make sure of your system’s performance;
The tile will be put only after the holes for the passage of the cement mixture or tile glue appear in the film and heat -reflecting material. Holes should be insulated at the site of the cut.
A fiberglass construction grid is laid out on the surface of the film. It will serve as a support for the upper tile layer.
